Washes

I have often seen referance to washes of burnt umber and burnt siena (sp) and I was wondering which is useful for what, since I just found some at my not-so-local hobby shop, and was wondering if they were worth the 7.50CDN to pick up?

It all depends on what you want. I've never done a wash on any of the kits that I build. All depends on personnal taste. I weather with drybrushing, ground pencil lead and pastel chalks.
