Hi, folks.
Just finished a big project: a heavily detailed-up Dragon E-100 German Super-heavy tank.
I'm quite satsified with it, but after all the weathering, dusting, and final flat coat, the extensive washing I did prior to all the other techniques is not quite as noticeable as I'd like.
Here's the question:
In such a situation, would you do another wash? I really like the textures and gradations I've achieved with the final weathering, so I don't want to jeopardize that with a fresh round of washing on top. I don't want the vehicle's overall impression to be darker.
Also, I'm much too lazy to start all over again from the wash.
Anybody have any experience enhancing a wash without effecting the final weathering too much?
One moment, I'm ready to dive back in on it with a new wash, and the next moment, it looks good to me as is.
Quite the dilemma!
