Resin Casting
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 26, 2004 10:41 PM
Hi,
i was wondering if someone could point me to a site with all i need to know about making molds and casting resin. I've made some ammo boxes from real wood in different sizes and would like to make a nice mold of each size so I can make bunches of them in resin. It was actually pretty easy making the boxes from wood, but i'd rather not try and make bunches of them from scratch. There are other more complex iyems i've thought about making a master of then reproducing with resin. So, any help pointing in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks, fellow modeller, Ron H, 38, Boston area

There is also a group on Yahoo that deals with casting and has over 3000 members. Many of these members are profesional casters and have great advice.
