About the only way I can think of to make them would be to take a piece of strip that is the proper width and using a scriber , scribe lines , alternating from front to back so when your done you can fold this up , accordion style. You could then glue it to the stringers (side pieces). This would probably be a little hard to keep everything aligned , so I would probably recommend building some sort of jig.

OK guys i need some suggestions. I used to use Evergreen S-Scale Stairways for a diarama i am building. They are no longer in production so i'm looking for some suggestions for replacements or ways to make them easily.

im actually building in 72 scale so the s-scale stairs are somewhat oversized but not enough to make a difference.
