Maffen, you're a wizard! That looks great! I'll have to give that a try for my current "Stalin Line" dio I'm building. Beats the hell out of $10 a wack for PE wire.

hi mates, for my next dio i needed a lot of barbedwire so the usual methode of making it (copperwire dubbel and then insert small pieces) was out of the question ( gonna take me a year  ) so was thinking of using screendoor mesh; the kind fly's don't like  but the problem was when you turn it like to spring back and the twists are not so tight and even. was thinking then why not try turning thin copper wire around it :? so here i'll tryed it and it worked pretty well, just naxt is a lick of paint.

Luc.

the flymesh and a cut of string.

thin copper wire .

one end twist the string with the end of copper wire.

other end dito but clamped between a vise. hold it torn and turn with your drill at low speed.

finished
