I just stumbled across this tonight.

Anyone ever heard of or tried it?

I use Gunze's Dissolved Putty works the same way, but is laquer based.
Prior to that I made my own paste by mixing Tamiya or Gunze tube putty with thinner.

Always wonder why people if their product is sooo good don't sell them via shops, etc.

It doesn't really say what it is other than it is the coolest putty on gods green earth. I wouldn't bother with it to be honest. It is probably a common product repackaged at $2.25 USD per ounce, not to mention it is water based.

leave the cap off a bottle of Tamiya flat white for 2 days and you have brush on water clean up putty.

SAVE YO MONEY!!! Bought some of it, it has the consistency of a thinned toothpaste but it just does not stick well to plastic! when you go to sand it off it comes off in chunks no matter how fine the sandpaper or wet or dry. I was not thrilled with this product as a sandable filler, but as for a really nice beginner mud it ain't bad just add color and deutritus and there you go! It will fill BIG gaps but you will have to finish with regular filler afterwards. I can think of alot of other uses for it but not what it is advertised for. Now if you ever see a rust powder product by a firm named RED STAR buy it for it looks truly like rust!! and is easy and versitile to use.

Thanks for the info Roi. I was a bit skeptical about it, and as others have said, if it's so great why isn't it sold in stores?

I agree on all aspects. I have the stuff and it's not all that great. In fact, it does come out in big chunks.

I also agree on the Red Star stuff on Ebay. I have every product the guy offers and it is every bit as good as any other pigments I have tried. The water effect he sells is also as good if not better than woodland scenics or any other for that matter. And it's WAY cheaper.

Thanks Ted! It is just the best isn't it? The effects you can achieve and so easy to work with makes this stuff a dream.
