Anyone remember colorforms? Can you get it to mask?

There's a thing used in biology labs called parafilm. I've used it once in my bio class and it's really neat. it's a waxy, kinda sticky think. it can be stretched and put on and object. it conforms to curved shapes well too. good luck!

What you are refering to is called "Press n Seal" by the Glad Wrap Co. The Glad Wrap Co, makes many various plastic products, but the one called "Press n Seal" is the one a lot of modellers use for masking.

If you have a store handy that sells materials for building R/C airplanes you might try a cheap roll of Coverite or other covering material. It's actually heat shrinkable plastic material for covering model airplanes, but it is very thin plastic and one side is slightly adhesive. Just don't get it hot or it will shrink! I haven't used any in years but I remember that it was always sticking to smooth surfaces when I didn't want it to.

There is also some material out now in the grocery stores that might work. I think it's called Glad Ware sheets or something like that. I've heard a few people talking about using it and it apparently works quite well.
