You might try taking the end of the tape (hopefully the end you are handling) and fold over about 1/4" on itself, making a small tab. Now handle the tape by the tab, and you should be OK.

Are you sure you are using the right side of the tape???! LOL Just kidding! In fact, Garyfo, I've never experienced that problem. I've been using the Tamiya tape but I still prefer the much cheaper 'masking tape' that you'd find in any DIY stores... I can see how frustrating this could be though...!

I was masking off a model last night for painting, and it seemed like every time I tried to put some tape down on the plane, more of it stuck to my finger than to the plane. The result was I had to keep taking it off my finger, readjusting it and so on.

Anybody know a trick to get the masking agent (ie-tamiy tape) to stick to the model, and not so much to the modeler?
