You can glue the PE with super glue.
To form the barrels use some sprue or cocktail sticks as as guide.
Some people recomend that you heat the PE by holding it in a flame for a second or two. This way the PE loses it's elasticity.

Neil,

I just noticed that the Fokker Dr. I Triplane book by Leaman is also available from squadron. Ordering code is SBC0328.

Neil,

No problem. When you are at the Ianallanpublishing website, just type in "Fokker Dr. I" in their' search engine and it should come up. I'll be building the same model sometime this Summer. Best of luck!

Dave;

Many thanks for the web sites. I'll check them out. Didn't think about Squadron.

Easy does it.

Niel,

One really good reference is "Fokker Dr. I Triplane: A World War One Legend" by Paul Leaman, Classic Publications http://www.ianallanpublishing.com

Another is the Squadron/Signal publications Aircraft number 98 "Fokker Dr. I In Action". http://www.squadron.com

I hope this helps,

Dave

I'm working on my first WWI kit. It's the Old Revell 1/28 FOkker Dr1. I have purchased the Toms Model works PE machine gun replacments for the kit ones. I need some advise on how to glue the pieces together and to form the gun barrels supplied. Also any ideas on the seat color? Perhaps a good reference source for this particular aircraft and any other adivce on this genre of aircraft.Question [?]

Thank you

Neil
