tamiya polishing compunds
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 31, 2005 3:30 AM
hey all!
i visited my lhs today, and in the tools section i saw a whole range of tamiya polishing compunds. there was the standard rubbing/ polishing compound, and then there were this set of three polishing compunds. ok, from the boxes i managed to deduce that theres a coarse, fine and finish polishes.
what i wanna know is where the lonley tamiya polishig compound fits into all of this?

The lonely Tamiya polishing compound is the "old" version. It now comes in 3 versions, as you mentioned.

thanks mate,.... so basically the old stuff will be phased out?? thats a shame, coz the old stuff is half the price!!

also, has any one used this set to polish car bodies with? how did the polishes work? the only polishes i can seem to find here in oz are car polishes.... and i think the only place i can get the micro mesh pads from here in oz is by mailoreder from the states :(
