adhesives for PE parts
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, April 2, 2005 3:20 PM
Has anyone had success attaching PE parts with something other than super glue? Perhaps some that bonds well but does not set so fast.

Thanks

Try medium viscosity superglue, which sets slower. If there is no
stress on the PE part, you can also use a drop thick clear varnish.

In addition to the suggestions above, PE can also be attached using paint, slow-curing epoxy, or acrylic binder (my current preferred method).

micro liquatape by microscale is good as well.dries clear and flexible enough to accept the odd inevitable knock. Also gives you more time to set up properly.
