The basics like removing flah from pieces and fitting everything well will make any model shine with a decent paint job.
Patience is the key to building great models as well as utilizing certain modeling techniques that you will learn through experience.

I agree.
You got the attitude and skill of becoming a full scale modeler.
I think your work is outstanding for a newer modeler and I cant wait to see more of your work. One good modeling rule I heard from someone on these forums (credit given) is the rule of the five P`s.

Persistent Practice Prevents Poor Performance.

As for your superglue method of filling seams. I agree that once fully dried, it becomes a little hard to sand efficiently. Working with superglue as a filler is about timing, you have to sand it while its still not compleatly cured and hard as a rock. Yup, putty is a great thing.

, I swear I was just reading your post about your being too perfectionist when I checked mine to see if I got an answer, LOL. Thankyou very much 4 your kind words, means alot 4 sure!
my first post was about sanding putty, a question of course Smile [:)]

. Anyhoo, I was using thick super glue but it gets too hard 4 me and I would be in danger of sanding too much surrounding plastic no matter how careful I was. I have been advised to use putty. A thing I use is silver paint to see defects, it does not leave brush marks (at least not yet) and real easy to remove if u want with 0000 steel wool,and really shows up the defects! I am going way out on a limb saying this cuz I don' t know jack compared to all these big guys. Anyhoo, ur ? was about perfection, Y not be as perfect as u can be as long as it doesn't take away from havin' fun Big Smile [:D]
