Super glue and clear parts

Howie - check out this site for info about Future, I know there is a counterpart in the UK by a different name: (it's in the first paragraph) Future is a clear acrylic floor polish by the way...

Elmers is white school glue, I am sure you have some there. (not the paste stuff, more like very thick syrup) if not Tamiya, Testors and a few others sell clear parts glue which does the same thing, but economically it is MUCH cheaper to use the school glue.


---edit--- if you coat your clear parts in Future before gluing them (and let them cure 24-48 hrs) any crazing from the super glue fumes will be reduced if not eliminated by the protection of the acrylic overcoat of the Krystal Clear.

OK there might be some mis-translation across the Pond here. What is Future, is it some sort of household product?

Can anyone recommend a website to buy the Elmers, as i cannot find it here in the UK stockists.

What Anthony said is correct, use white glue. Future will get rid of the opaque areas that are already messed up from the superglue. Give it a try, just brush a little bit on the messed up areas.

Use white glue, like Elmer's, all the super glue I have used leaves a foged appearence.
