That's what I use too. A piece of glass and a sharp blade.

I need to get my glass on my current workstation, I've been using the dining room table for my plastic builds. My R/C bench has my glass for cutting film and tape and the like.

An alternative to glass are self healing mats. You can usually fine these in office supply stores in the same aisle as X-acto knives. They come in a variety of sizes, so you can get wahtever is most convenient for your work area.

Like a lot of the others here, I use a #11 blade and a sheet of glass. In addition, I use a 6" x 1/2" machinists ruler to ensure a straight cut.

I prefer something hard. I have a few ceramic tiles I got at Lowes for about 50 cents each. They are about 6" square and come in very handy.

I have a piece of glass and a cutting pad that I use. The cutting pad was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Medals are not "Won", they are "Earned".

Same here.
Unless I am masking a canopy. Then I put the tape on the canopy and cut it.
