New use of Future?

Mooseman,
I will consider to use tamiya tape especially for every piece of clear parts. During my project I only use ordinary masking tape that usually used by painter (I think swanny uses this common tape as well,seen at his website).
I also got advise from Swanny for this case. Thank's again to both of you.

I can't say I've experienced that problem when masking canopies with tape.

I allow the Future to fully cure (at least 48 hours, longer if possible) before masking.
Then make sure the tape is well and truly sealed down, especially on canopies with intricate curves. I only use Tamiya masking tape - nothing else compares, especially for clear canopies.

Once that is done I've left the tape on the canopy for days without problems.

Master Swanny or any other master on this forum,I've problem with clear canopy.I follow Swanny's advice to use tape related to masking canopy lines (after dip in future of course).I left the tape for a night stick on that clear part.But the day after,I found this canopy becoming bluur and left some tape glue/residue to that part - when I lift the mask.How does it happen?Is it wrong to let the tape stay for long time?Why future not act as protector for this case.So, how to avoid this happen again,any suggestion pls.

Add a little talcum powder to the Future and fill larger seam issues. While many do use it as a primer for Alclad it is not 100% secure against the lacquer carrier. As long as you are very careful it will work but I prefer to use Krylon gloss black as my Alclad primer.
