                        i just finished building my first model since returning to the hobby. i ended up leaving the blue painter's tape mask on the canopy for about 2 months. any ideas for cleaning up the canopy without messing up the paint?

                        GooGone will remove the tape residue without harming most paints or the clear plastic. You can find it at just about any department store or good drug store.

                        Or else use a fresh piece of tape to clean it up-never is it a good idea to leave tape on too long. BTW-do get some GooGone-it's very useful-even for non-modeling stuff.

                        how about washing it with some soapy water... thats not real strong adhesive.
