I have two suggestions.
1. Buy some PE from someone like Eduard @ http://www.squadron.com/
2. Buy some corregated metal in the railroad section of your hobby shop that looks like a zimmerit mold. Coat a small area with a thin coat of putty and press the metal into the putty
