Hi Jason,
By not working right, I assume you mean the wash isn't flowing into the panel lines where the decals are. A liberal application of a solution like Micro Sol needs to go on the decal prior to sealing it with Future; sometimes several applications are needed to get the decal to settle into the panel line, so that the wash can flow. Also, it might be possible for too heavy an application of Future to fill the panel lines, so the wash can't get in there.
I have this problem a lot of the time, and usually can't get a good wash over some of the decals, so I know how you feel.
