Yep, it is a hole, I'll see if I can get a pic of it. I have it at work and we aren't supposed to take cameras there.

Is that a hole in the middle of the feusilage right above the left wing? If it is you did a great job making it realistic.

Nope, I meant 1944. Falcon Field was around during the war as a training airfield. This is actually a shot facing North from MDHelicopters which is on the south side of Falcon Field.

I built the model though, I must confess.
