If you can take the thing apart, paint and reglue unless it is not a glue on peice. or just paint messily into the area you need to and dont worry if you get it on parts you dont want. once the mess has dried just repaint the parts the color they are supposed to be. and one more thing.... paint most of the model before you glue.
