I have run into this topic before in modeling magazines and also postings on the the internet. How do you get your finished armor to look like painted metal and not painted plastic?
I am getting into the final stages of finishing a 1/48 Tamiya T-34 for and I am interested in finding out what techniques work the best for gettting a realistic finish. Washes, Filters, Pastels or Weathering powders?
Any suggestions or techniques you could share would be great.
