Finding equivalent paints?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 24, 2005 6:40 PM
I'm going to be doing the metal-body MiG-21 in that "how-to" airbrush booklet by Fine Scale. I have most of the stuff I need (no Novus plastic polish, but I assume Mr. Surfacer or Tamiya polish will do the job just as well; also Future instead of Gunze Clear), but one thing has been bugging me: finding equivalent paint colors for some of what they listed. Specifically, the Aeromaster colors. I can't get them in my area, and trying to figure out the Model Master equivalets is giving me a headache. I assume the MM "USSR Interior Blue Green" is the same as the Aero "Warpac Cockpit interior Blue Green", but for the life of me I can't figure out what "Radome/Hub Green" is closest to. Can anyone give me some help here?
