Hello all, I just wanted to lett every one know that I am about to begin on my 1/350 SCALE TAMIYA YAMATO. I wanted to ask everyone what they think, or what would be the road they would take so to speak, on the PE SETS that I have at my finger tips. PE SETS from these great co. First, TOMS, EDUARD'S, GOLD MEDAL MODEL'S. I have been looking at the PE SET from WEM, but dont know if I really need any more PE parts. What I really would like to have is some PE PARTS, of 25mm machine guns, and some 25mm triple guns, 12.7 cm high angle guns. But can't seem to find any at these co. They dont have to be PE PARTS. They could be any type of resin or something that really looks nice. I have purchased the YAMATO special edition set of barrels from STEVE NUTTALL, I hope I spelled his name right, They are some great looking barrels, they are the same guns that were on the YAMATO but scaled down to fit this ship, really very detailed looking guns. He has a great tallent. But I have his barrels that I will be adding to my ship. that gives me quite allot of barrels there, I just need the smaller 25mm guns, I have plenty of the 20mm guns but the YAMATO calls for the 25mm. Any way I just would like to hear from all of you out there, Your experience is always most welcome. As always I would like to thank everyone for his or her's points of view. Take care. Lonnie.
