I use a very small bit (something around a #76) in a pin vise and it works fine.  I also usually deepen holes that I know are going to get sanded away beforehand.  That makes it easier to keep them aligned.

Restoring Recessed holes
Posted by MontanaCowboy on Thursday, December 8, 2005 9:10 PM

Hey,

What is the best way to restore recessed holes? I've tried multiple techniques, but none work. The reason I'm asking is because I have sanded away the many holes on the folding-wing section on my F-15E, and it looks bland without the molded holes.

 Danke
