Future and SnJ

Swanny's "Complete Future" refers to "adding a few blobs of SnJ powder to 1/2 oz. of Future" to create a metallic paint. I tried this with very poor (thin, transparent coating) poor results. Has anyone else tried this? What amount of powder did you use?
