nose gear help
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, August 9, 2003 2:04 PM
Hey I am building a 1/48 scale B-25, when I was painting it and all the nose gear broke off in two places, I tried cementing it back, but whenever I do and the glue dries, it is so flexible that it bends when I set the model down, as the nose has a bit of ballast in it. Any ideas to make it stronger? am running out myself.

Depending on where it is broken, you could drill out some of the plastic and replace it with small diameter rod. I guess the other option would be aftermarket landing gear.
