wash in warm water and dish soap with a soft toothbrush

I use a really soft toothbrush and wash the piece under warm running water. The toothbrush should loosen most of the remaining residue. You might have to buff the surface back again with a soft polishing cloth.

How do you get rid of the excess tamiya rubbing/polishing compound out of the panel lines and rivets after polishing.
