jeng I wouldn't use varnish on a model. I don't think it would work that good and might not be compatible. I would try the Johnson wipe n shine but TEST it out on an old kit or just some scrap plastic. Paint the scrap first then try the wipe n shine once it dries to see how it works.

If you can get Johnson Products there ... look for Johnson's Klear, I hear it works pretty much the same as Future.

I have the same problem as jengjeng. I have never seen Future here in Japan!
I'll look for Johnson's Klear and see what I can come up with.

You just need to make sure to get an Acrylic floor wax (not actually a wax, but they are still usually called a wax).

The key is to find somebody cool enough to send you a bottle of future via USPS. It might cost you twenty bucks by the time you factor shipping ect but one bottle lasts FOREVER!!

I recently sent a bottle from the UK to a FSM forum member in Argentina. Indeed the cost of p&p was higher than the actual product, but it DOES last forever. At least, I know the bottle can cope with the transport!

Future is an acrylic floor finish for no wax and regular floors. Look for something else similar but be sure to test it first.
