there's a guy on ebay that sells fiberoptics and illuminators real cheap. I bought 80 feet of .74 for 4 or 5 bucks. I think he sells it regularly. you can find him in: Toys & Hobbies > Models > Tools, Supplies, Engines and his ebay name is carpenterus

LIghting techniques: How to....?

Hello all,

I'd like to install formation lights in the aircraft I build, make them blink, light up the cockpit with fiber optics, etc.

Problem being, I can't seem to locate any reference material on the subject on how to build the circuit boards, what kinds of resistors, capacitors, power sources etc. are needed to make this work.

Aside from purchasing one of the Star Trek models for cannibiliazation, anyone have any ideas on where to get parts, either already assembled, or to be assembled?

Thanks!
