Future Clean Up
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, February 6, 2003 12:51 PM
Ok so it's not the catchy title of the new Arthur C. Clarke novel....I was wondering what to use in my airbrush to clean it after spraying Future?
Thanks!!

Alcohol is what I use. Just don't let it sit in your airbrush too long or it will get gummed up and more difficult to get clean. There is another post along this line somewhere else in the forum where someone mentioned using ammonia.

WIndex will work too, I also use windex if I need to thin Future.

Windex. After I spray Future, I have a pipette of Windex to put in the paint cup and spray through. Then I clean with Denatured Alcohol when I take the airbrush apart.
Denatured Alcohol can be found at any hardware store, in the paint thinner area.
