                        im planning on buying an oil color for detailing my aircraft models.i was just wondering on what brand or type would be the best to use.i have here with me a reeves ivory black oil.what do i have to use to thin the oils before applying it to a model.will thinner or alcohol work?what about adding detergent?thanks guys for the help...Smile [:)]

                        I have used Winson & Newton, and M. Graham & Co. brands with equal success. One I got at Micheal's and one at Craft Wharehouse -- I forget which from where.

                        Bu tthey are equally good.

                        I use Artist's Low-Odor Mineral Spirits for thinning.
