It's cheaper, dries to a very hard finish, is cheap, is self levelling, dries very clear with no yellowing, is cheap, is great for dipping canopies to increase clarity, and is cheap.
Also, it provides a great barrier for washes - have you ever painted with acrylics or enamels and the wash dissolves the topcoat? I hate that.
Future smells just fine, needs no thinning to apply, won't kill brain cells, and cleans up with water, or water and a little ammonia.
What could be simpler? A product that does a really good job that's not expensive. Apparently, some people use it on their floors, too.
