I am building a racecar and i was wondering what you guys use for the padding on the roll cage. Thanks alot

Well I don't build cars but I did just finish reading an old FSM mag. There is a fellow in there who is building a NASCAR and he is using that shrinking wire insulation. The kind that you slide over a electrical wire splice or joint and apply heat to make it shrink to conform. He didn't shrink it and the effect was very convincing.

A friend of mine that builds cars used a rubber tape, I think it was called "miracle tape". It has no adhesive as it sticks to itself, kinda like an ace bandage. I've never used it but it looks pretty slick on his cars.
