Cockpit tips
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 6, 2003 2:55 AM
If a proper cocpit is not given i do the following.
Find and make a cokpit templete. I drill the instruments holes. At the back side i put white paper., I dry brush the lips of the drilled holes, (i dont sand them down), For sidewalls I print a photo of the real thing shrinked to size. The bulged canopy (closed position) will distrort the image giving a 3d effect.
the crisper the photo the better. Stretched sprue for levers.
clear for glass. comments alternatives welcomed

It 's worth a try! I guess for smaller scales especially, this could get good results!
