C-47 Dakota interior

This is my first foray into fine detailing,I've got the PE set for the (Italieri)Dakota & the cockpit looks great. The cargo area bench seats, which will be more visible than the cockpit, look so plain. In the paratroop version of the C-47 the bench seats either fold up against the walls or there are individual metal buckets for the 28 brave troops.
Has anyone any ideas for sprucing up the plain benches? Thanks!

If you are doing it gear down why not set some randomly placed equipment like a chute pack on the bench or a helmet, gloves or tools. Shipping crates or stuff like that just to busy it up. Change over to a cargo version and put a Bandai jeep inside it.

There must be hundreds of versions of this aircraft,my favorite would have to be the "Spooky",due to its being a cargo plane that had,for a time,an"F" designation for fighter.Maybe next time I'll fit one out with some miniguns,or sacks of Berlin coal, but this time I'd like to do a troop carrier. With enough miscellaneous gear laying about it should look lived in enough to give the right look of friendly yet viscious. Thanks,Swanny
