Sure peeps have tried this already.
Get some Mr Dissolved Putty and some Mr White Putty. Take one clean empty Tamiya mini acrylic jar and put a little bit of both in. Make it somewhere between the two.
Result? Mr Thicker Dissolved putty. Skins off dead quick still, easy to use it with a brush. Best result is that it does not crack.
