James Mark,

I've read other discussions about adding flat base to future as well. I have some on my desk, but haven't quite tried it out yet. My understanding is that as long as you don't put more than about 50% flat base into the future, it will be OK. After that, it seems like the future goes 'cloudy'. Varying levels of flat base are supposed to give varying levels of 'sheen'.

Spray on several thin coats. Don't try to do it all in one coat. After you get the desired results, do what you have to do and if you need to apply a flat coat make sure the future has had the time to fully cure. I have sprayed clear flat over future and have not had any problems.

I'm a total Newb at future....

So far I'm getting fairly good results, but I think I over did it!

How much is enough...I hear people talking about using future as a decal setting solution...but that to me sounds like it would leave a puddle or a raised shiny area.

I've been airbrushing future and for my first go I think I got to much...I left a few puddles. I was spraying and I wanted to get an even coat.....some parts seme to be under sprayed (left bare patches) and others over....How do I get a nice even spray.

ANY tips with how to make future look great would be awesome!

Also how do you flatten Future? Can you use Tamiya Clear flat...how do you mix it...any side effects?

Thanks....I would appreciate any help because I hear Future is such a wonder product and i would like to get a good handle on it!
