I have read about dullcoat but I am not sure what exactly it is and how I am to use it on my tanks. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated

A clear coating that has a satin or flat appearance. It will take the shine off your model and give it a more realistic look. Usually applied with an airbrush but can be applied with a soft wide paintbrush. Typical dull coats are Testors lacquer dull coat, Polly Scale clear flat or Future floor sealant mixed 30% with Tamiya flat base.

You can also buy testor's dullcote in the small "rattle" spray cans.
