Don't use alcohol or Windex for standard post-use cleaning...however, I recommend using Windex or Green Stuff for deep cleaning, as it helps with accumulated gunk.
On the topic of spraying Model Color, I have sprayed Model Color diluted with Vallejo thinner, and I almost prefer it to Model Air.
