I've built Academy's Gulf War version and it went together well. My only complaint was the rubber band track which were too short. I plan on replacing them with aftermarket options in the near future. As I understand it the angle of the rear plate is wrong, but it's a better kit than the old Tamiya offering. The Vietnam version was issued first and my Gulf War boxing contained most, if not all of the parts from the former kit.
Most importantly, I had a blast building it!
