Try using some beeswax on the threads.  Works a treat to stop air leaks.

If you are talking about the piece directly over the nozzle, finger tight is not good enough.  That's what the wrench is for.  Also, check to see if your o-ring is there.

Foaming HP-CR ?
Posted by gjek on Monday, August 18, 2008 1:12 AM
When I am blowing windex through my HP-CR foam comes out between the nozzle cap and the airbrush body. I don't notice this when shooting other mediums. I have it finger tight and still it occurs. I am sure if I use plumbers tape I can stop it but I don't think it is supposed to need plumbers tape. I am sure air must also leak out when I am shooting other medium. I looked on the Iwata site but their "On Line Tech Support" is not yet up and running. Any suggestions as to cause/solution? Thanks, Greg.
