Back than if I recall correctly they were enamels in tins.

I hear they added an acrylic range but not sure when.

Not sure as I can't get them where I am, but IMO Humbrol are the best enamels on the market.

Started on them some 37yrs ago.

Looking for information on Humbrol paints

Back in 1994 I bought a Heller 1:100 HMS Vicotory kit from Model Expo Inc.

When I bought it, I bought it with a Vicotry Paint Set, which included Humbrol paints

HUM 12, HUM16, HUM24, HUM34, HUM60, HUM70, HUM85, HUM89, HUM94, HUM98, HUM101, and HUM25.

I threw out the paints a couple of years ago.

I want to start on this kit again and need to re-buy the paints.  I can't remember if Humbrol paints were enamels or acrylics?  I see now that Humbrol has something called "Super Enamels".  Is this what I should be buying to replace the paints?  I had already started painting the kit so I want to use compatible paints.
