On-line Source for Tamiya
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 17, 2003 9:27 AM
I would like a good source for ordering Tamiya flat acrylics on-line.

Also does anyone have the recipe for the windex mixture to clean air brushes - I wll be sure to keep it this time. It was x amount of windex to y amount of distilled water - can not remember x and y.

Thanks.

I think model expo is the chepest out there if you only want to buy tamiya acrylic. As for the windex thing, i usually clean my iwata hp-c with full stength windex even though on the insert included with the brush said something like 20% ammonia 80 water. the cup is slightly tarnished, but i think its because the inside of the cup is poorly or not plated at all. Its not shiny like the outside of the brush.

I believe you're referring to MikeV's recipe of
1 part Windex
1 part Simple Green
2 parts distilled water
