I spray the inside with a rattlecan and mask later, or brush if it's a color that I don't have in a can.  I use regular ol' masking tape applied to the inside after the interior caot has had a few days to cure... If you want, you can make the masking tape less sticky by sticking it to your forehead first (really) or just touching it repeatedly with your fingers, either way will allow some of your own body oils to reduce the tackiness of tape to prevent lifting when you pull the mask..

If I were you, I would do the inrterior first, wait a few days, then mask it off and start spraying. For the interior, brushes work for me but you could spray it if you really wanted to. But again, this is just my thoughts. Painting sequence is a matter of personal opinion and changes from subject to subject. Anyway, I hope I helped!

I am returning to modeling after many years. I have a build in progress and I would like advise. A Cobra 427 RoG. I plan on painting the body Tamiya Brilliant Blue (spray can) and would like to paint the inside of the body Tamiya semigloss black. Obviously masking is entailed however I would appreciate some detailed discussion. Do you paint the inside first then the outside, do you have to wait a few days for paint to cure, would the inside be better done with a brush. should the edge be the outside color or the inside color? Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. John
