I just put one of these in my basement.  If you use 4" dryer ducting you will be fine.  Just make sure to use metal ducting if you are buying the flexible stuff.

Thanks Namrednef!  I appreciate the info.  I'm getting it from Chicago Airbrush!

Hi again J!

I looked up your booth.....hope you are buying thru Chicago Airbrush.....best price and the filters are reasonable too.

You need just 4" pipe or flexible 'buck duct'. You should be good to go. Stay off ebay......you'll save a hundred!

Your specs on the booth should tell you what the recommended venting is. 4", 5" or 6" most likely.

If not, let me know what CFM the fan is rated for and I'll give you the proper size hard pipe or flex pipe. Then you just need to buy the proper vent hood for the outside (like a dryer vent hood) and you're in!

I'll try and look up your booth after my due-dilligence here at FSMBig Smile [:D]

Queston about vent for PAASCHE 22" Paint Spray Booth

I was wondering if any of you who have the Paasche 22" spray booth could let me know which type of vent tube I should use.   I'm particularly interested in the vent for the window.  I have this spray booth on order and would be grateful for any set up suggestions.  I'm fortunate that I can set it up so that it is about a 10" staight shot to a window.

Thanks,

John
