1/4 to 1/8 hose adapter X-X

You need a 1/8 NPT female x 1/4 NPT male adapter that looks like this:

Easily found in any hardware store or building material supplier chains like Lowes or Home Depot. It costs $2-3 in single package.

If your compressor or regulator was made elsewhere, there is a chance that the thread may be BSP (British Standard Pipe) instead of the North American NPT (National Pipe Thread). They are slightly different, but can still be sealed using enough nylon tapes.

Also, search your compressor packaging before going to the store. Many of the vendor include the adapter knowing that the customer will be iritated if they don't.

Go to your local Lowes/Home Depot/Ace Hardware and check their fittings in the plumbing department.   At my Lowes there is a big display board with all of the various fittings.  You should be able to find some brass reducing/expanding couplers which are 1/8 female to 1/4 male.   In the States the threads per inch will be pretty much standard for the pipe size.   You can also choose to extend the setup with other couplings, elbows, and nipples (pipe threaded for most or all of its length).   Street elbows are male on one end and female on the other.   

Take your parts for a test fit -- or make drawings of what you want to do.   Find one of the older guys in the plumbing department & explain what you want to do.    While you're there pick up a roll of Teflon plumbers tape.   It helps make an airtight seal between the two parts as they are threaded together.

I had info for going the other way...connecting to a 1/4" male regulator and providing a 1/8" male for connection to an 1/8" female hose connection

Sorry, dunno where what you're after is...have you tried the manufacturer's sites for both your AB and your compressor?  Often they'll have fitting sections...good luck
