cleaning off surface primer
Posted by smeagol the vile on Saturday, November 1, 2008 1:44 PM

I have a nice perdy bottle of Tamiya Surface Primer.  I have been getting a heck of alot of use out of it, I love it, problem is... bottle is all in Japanese, doesnt say the paint type, and my thinner isnt cleaning my brushes, nor is water.  Thankfully I have junk brushes because its killing the bristles.

Hi there Vile one Big Smile [:D],
Lacquer thinner will sort your brushes out Smeagol, Tamiya make a Lacquer Thinner for the Primer, but any brand will do the job. You can also thin the primer down with it if you need too.
All the best,
Mick C.
