Which needle and tip/aircap for what?

I have a Paasche VL dub-ac and are unsure about which jobs the three different supplied aircaps/tips and needles are suited to. I successfully clear coated my KV-1 with the factory fitted parts not even thinking about the other ones but there are two spares of thje three different parts. There is a label inside each of the clear plastic tubes of the spares: one says VLA-1 &VLT-1, the other, VLA-5&VLT-5. Which ones serve what job? Cheers?
At the end of the day one's work may be completed but one's education never!
