oooh gotcha. yea. I think I made the mistake of using around 18-20psi. Also, I think I wasn't "drawing" the line quick enough. Thanks for the help guys. I'll try again tonight.

I'd recommend turning down the PSI... When preshading I generally use 7-10 PSI

it sounds like too much air pressure and maybe your not "drawing the line" quick enough,hence the puddles...

I am fairly new to both pre-shading and airbrushing. I attempted to preshade part of my v-22 last night and had some issues with the paint getting blown all over from the airbrush. I don't know if the paint is too thin, or if I'm using too much psi. basically I try to draw a line and the paint puddles up then gets blown into a "splattered" look. 

Any thoughts? Thanks.
