It's just a bleed air valve. I don't put much stock in them. I don't think I would use one if I have a pressure guage. It's more for diaphram compressors with out them IMHO.
Take this plastic and model it!

This MAC Valve has been announced by Iwata. What do people think? Good/bad idea? I kinda like the idea of being able to adjust the pressure without having to bend down and fiddle with the compressor.
